Local Policing and Safer Neighbourhood Teams

Every one of the 600+ council wards in London has a dedicated Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) that deals with local issues. The team is generally two Police Officers and a PCSO. They hold local knowledge that is useful to other officers when dealing with crimes.

If you need to report a crime, you must still call 101 or the other options detailed on the Reporting a Crime page. However if you have information or suspicions that you think local officers should know about, you should contact the SNT.
