The Metropolitan Police provide tools and data to allow analysis of crime data by type and location. The data is anonymised, so cannot be used to glean information about specific crimes.

Met Police

To analyse trends in your area use the link at https://www.met.police.uk/sd/stats-and-data/met/crime-data-dashboard/

You will need to select the area of interest (e.g. Sutton) from the map and the offence group(s) and month range from the top of the dashboard to prompt the chart and stats to update.

For a ward level breakdown select the Safer Neighbourhoods tab at the top of the page and select the location from the map as before.

A current snapshot of a ward is also provided using the link at Your area | The Met

National Police

The Met also provide data to a national police site.

You can view the stats for your local ward using https://www.police.uk/pu/your-area/.

This provides a (different) crime type breakdown, with monthly history and a map that allows you to zoom in to street level. The raw data is also available for download at https://data.police.uk/ .
